Marvin Roxas graduated Cum Laude from Boston University College of Engineering with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering after having joined an a cappella group, studied abroad in Dresden, led students as an engineering student advisor/tutor, and gloriously won the title of Mr. Boston University during his senior year. Marvin Roxas has tutored and taught Calculus, Physics, and Engineering Mechanics at the high school and college level. He also has experience living and working abroad as seen during his internship through DAAD at the Reiner Lemoine Institute in Berlin where he somehow used Matlab Coding to optimize hydropower potential data. From 2013 - 2015 Marvin Roxas worked as an education Peace Corps Volunteer in Uganda where he fostered communication with his local village community which resulted in the creation of a village Computer Lab. During his bout adjusting to reverse-culture shock in Baltimore, MD Marvin Roxas has worked as a private high school math teacher in Towson, project engineer for Whiting-Turner, and construction laborer all while joining the local acrobatic, arts, and burner communities in Baltimore and D.C.. His involvements include organizational management for Camp Beemore, movement/dance for the Baltimore Rock Opera Society (BROS), and social justice work/volunteering in Baltimore and beyond. As a Baltimore Corps Fellow, he currently works as the Operations and Development Manager at WombWork Productions, Inc. where he spends his time working at Mama Kay's home office, managing the non-profit, developing the website, and providing organizational teaching instruction.
